Our specialist imaging services

At Heart Imaging UK, we provide specialist cardiac imaging services designed to give patients and clinicians the clearest possible picture of heart health. Using advanced MRI and CT technology, we deliver detailed, accurate, and timely insights that guide diagnosis and treatment.
Cardiac CT
Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT) provides a non-invasive way to visualise the coronary arteries and assess for heart disease. CT calcium scoring helps determine the risk of future cardiac events, while CT angiography offers precise imaging of coronary artery narrowing or blockages. This service is ideal for patients with chest pain, suspected coronary artery disease, or those requiring risk stratification.
Cardiac MRI
Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is the gold standard for assessing heart structure, function, blood flow, and tissue composition. It is especially valuable in diagnosing cardiomyopathies, myocarditis, congenital heart disease, valve disorders, and scarring from previous heart attacks. We also offer stress perfusion MRI and tissue characterisation to detect early disease and subtle abnormalities that other imaging may miss.
CT Chest / High-Resolution CT Thorax
CT of the chest — including high-resolution CT (HRCT) of the thorax — provides detailed imaging of the lungs, airways, and chest wall. It is a key tool in diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema, and bronchiectasis, as well as detecting lung nodules and cancers. By offering precise evaluation of subtle lung changes, HRCT supports earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment planning.
Fast, Expert Reporting
All scans are personally reported by Dr Senan Alsanjari, Consultant Radiologist specialising in cardiac and thoracic imaging. With an average turnaround time of 12–48 hours, patients and clinicians receive rapid, reliable results with clear explanations.
